Tips for avoiding Holiday Fire Damage:

• If you plan on frying a turkey be sure that it is fully thawed before frying. 
• Keep the fryer on a flat, level surface, away from any buildings or wood structures. 
• Use proper techniques and kitchen tools. 
• Never leave the fryer unattended. 
• Should a fire break out, prevent fire damage by having a fire extinguisher on hand, do not use water to put out an oil fire. 
• Keep an eye on all stovetop-cooked foods.
• Do not leave candles burning unattended. 
• Keep hot or flammable objects out of the reach of children. 
• Be smart, safe, and have fun!
